It's a new year and what a second half of the month.
It is a little late, but I would like to declare my annual aspirations. My goal for this year is to strengthen my language skills. I always use English in my work, but last year I strongly felt that I needed to improve the range of my expressions and the quality of my accurate communication
First, I took two language proficiency tests at the beginning of the year to learn more about myself and strengthen my weak points. Unlike TOEIC, this test focuses on practical skills and is called CEFR. The CEFR is a test that visualizes the four skills of foreign language learners, including listening, reading, speaking, and writing, and was established in Europe in 2001.
There are four levels, each with two grades from A to C. A is for beginner and C is for advanced. Business English speakers are required to have at least a B level of English proficiency.
I have taken the test at two different test centers, both of which gave me a B1 level. My goal is C1. I still have a long way to go, but I will keep studying hard.
Do you know, if you can speak English, your evaluation in the company will be better, and furthermore, your salary will be linked and improved, so I personally recommend it as an efficient investment.
By the way, it is said that if you study for 2,500 hours, you can obtain it! To do or not to do, it is up to you.
